We are seeking those that are interested, inquisitive and highly motivated in making our nation’s environment free from risk associated with our nation’s nuclear weapons production legacy. Crews Prepare to Pull the Pump on Single-Shell Tank (SST) C-106 at the Hanford Tank Farms.

How Do I Qualify?

Basic Qualification Requirements

To be determined as basically qualified and eligible for consideration, you must:
  • Be a United States Citizen
  • Have the ability to pass a background investigation
  • And for some positions, obtain a security clearance and meet the federal guidelines/standards under our drug testing program.

Academically

We are looking for high academic achievers who possess a high potential to succeed in this program and to achieve throughout his/her career. To qualify for a position in the EMPDC, you must earn a bachelor or graduate degree by June 2008 in one of the following academic disciplines: A Pacific Northwest National Laboratory scientist prepares bacterial spore samples for AGAR analysis.
